Lawn maintenance puts your lawn on a schedule. Lawn Leveling Masters visits weekly or every other week, as the season needs. Every visit includes mowing, edging, string trimming and blowing. The lawn stays cut through every season, and a call or a text starts it.

Every lawn maintenance visit has four parts. We mow the lawn and edge along the walks and the driveway. String trimming takes the grass down around trees and fences and along beds. Then we blow the clippings off the walks and the drive.
Florida's extension service warns that clippings left on a drive can wash into a storm drain. From there, they can pollute the water. That is why the blowing step comes on every visit.
A few jobs sit outside a maintenance visit. Sprinkler repair goes to a licensed irrigation contractor. Hedge and shrub trimming goes to another trade, and so do mulch and new plants. For the rest of what we do for a lawn, see our lawn care services.
Florida's extension service says a lawn's growth rate sets how often to mow it. Grass type, the season, the weather and the level of care all change that rate. St. Augustine grass, the most common lawn grass in Florida, typically needs weekly mowing in the growing season. Bahia grass needs a cut every 7 to 14 days while it grows actively.
Floratam St. Augustine grass grows fast in spring and summer, the extension service says. Florida's state climate office puts Bradenton's rain at about 56 inches in a normal year. About 35 of those inches fall from June through September. Winters are mild and dry, and St. Augustine grass needs less mowing then.
The same extension guidance sets a one-third rule: no cut should take more than a third of the blade. A St. Augustine lawn kept at 4 inches should be cut before it passes 6 inches. Around Bradenton, that means weekly visits in the growing season and every other week in winter.
A plan starts with a call or a text to (941) 812-6030. We look at the lawn and put the quote in writing. Once you say yes, the lawn goes on the schedule.
An overgrown lawn comes down over more than one visit, since the one-third rule still applies. When leaves and small debris cover the grass, we start with a yard cleanup.
If your mower bounces over dips and holes, the lawn needs leveling. Lawn leveling is our main service: we mow low, mark the low spots, fill them and tamp them firm. After that, the maintenance visits keep the new surface cut.

We come out and look at the lawn in person. On a leveling job, we check how many low spots it has and how deep they run.
We put the quote in writing, with the work spelled out. Once you say yes, we set the day for the job.
On a leveling job, we mow low, then mark and fill every low spot. On a mowing visit, we mow and edge the lawn and trim around the beds.
The fill is tamped firm and raked in, and the lawn is left flat for the mower. Every mowing visit ends with the walks and the drive blown clean.

We spread a thin, even layer of leveling material over the lawn to fill shallow low spots. The grass grows up through it, and the mower rides smoother.

We mow low and mark each dip with spray paint before any material goes down. Then each spot is filled and tamped firm.
We flag sprinkler heads before a leveling job starts. Clippings get blown off the walks and back onto the lawn, as Bradenton asks.
